Reducing Agent Delivery Module: Removing

WARNING: The reducing agent can cause skin irritation.

-- Observe the safety precautions, refer to SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Follow the guidelines for clean working conditions, refer to CLEAN WORKING CONDITIONS .

-- Observe safety precautions when working on the selective catalytic reduction system, refer to SCR SYSTEM SAFETY PRECAUTIONS .

-- Drain the reducing agent tank, refer to REDUCING AGENT TANK, DRAINING .

-- Remove the lock washer and the trim panel.

-- Clean the area around the delivery module.

-- Disconnect the connectors -1- and -3-.

-- Release and disconnect the reducing agent line -2-. Disconnect the reducing agent line, refer to Figure.

-- To catch escaping reducing agent place a clean cloth under the separation point.

-- Seal all the open lines and connections with clean plugs from the Engine Bung Set VAS 6122.

-- Remove the bolts -arrows-.

-- Pry out the delivery module -5- from the opening -4- with a slotted screwdriver.

-- Remove the delivery module from the reducing agent tank.
