Reducing Agent Delivery Module: Installing

Install in reverse order of removal. Note the following:

NOTE: Do not clean the delivery module for the reducing agent with compressed air.

Clean all components and connections with water and a lint-free cloth.

All components must be dry before assembling.

Coat the seals with lubricant before installing.

Check the seals for damage.

-- Clean all components and connections with water and a lint-free cloth.

-- Replace the shock absorber -item  3-.

-- Replace the spacer sleeves -item  2-.

-- Replace the seals -item  4-.

-- Position the reducing agent delivery module and push in the mount without tilting.

-- Apply the necessary force fully.

NOTE: Markings are applied on the reducing agent tank supply line.

These names -S1- to -S3- show the tightening sequence.

The delivery module is replaced as follows.

Replace the bolts.

Tightening Sequence Bolt Markings On The Supply Line Bolt Position Tightening Specification
1. S1 Bolt With The Largest Distance To The Seal -
2. S2 Bolt With The Middle Distance To The Seal 6 Nm
3. S3 Bolt With The Smallest Distance To The Seal -

-- Adapt the adaptation value for the SCR system after draining reducing agent or replacing components, refer to SCR-SYSTEM ADAPTATION VALUE, ADAPTING .
