Telephone BASEPLATE On Instrument Panel

Removing 

-- Switch off the ignition and all electrical consumers.

-- Remove the cellular telephone from the baseplate.

-- Carefully grasp the telephone mount and tip it by hand in the -direction of the arrow- as illustrated.

-- Insert a suitable screwdriver into the slot -A-.

-- Place a piece of cloth or felt under the blade of the screwdriver to protect the surface of the instrument panel. Pry the baseplate off the instrument panel in -direction of arrow-.

-- Remove the glove compartment. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Disconnect the connectors -arrows- from the telephone baseplate wire connections. They can be seen at left of removed glove compartment at heating and cooling cases.

-- Remove the telephone baseplate and wire connections from the instrument panel.

This is how the removed telephone baseplate with wiring connections looks.

Installing 

Install in reverse order of removal.
