Anti-lock Brake System (ABS) Hydraulic Unit -N55-
- Component location: In the right side plenum chamber.
  The hydraulic unit consists of the components:
- ABS hydraulic pump -V64-.
- Valve block (contains inlet and outlet valves).
- The ABS hydraulic pump and valve block must not be separated from one another.
- From calendar week 27.11.06 with the brake pressure sensor.
ABS Control Module (w/Electronic Differential Lock (EDL)) -J104-
- Component location: At the hydraulic unit on the right side of the plenum chamber.
- Do not disconnect the connector before successfully completing the On Board Diagnostic (OBD). Turn the ignition off before disconnecting the connector.
Brake Pressure Sensor -G201-
- Component location: through calendar week 27.11.06 on the brake master cylinder.
- Removing and installing , refer to BRAKE PRESSURE SENSOR 1 .
- From calendar week 03.12.06 in the ABS hydraulic unit.
Brake Booster Pressure Sensor -G294-
- Only installed on vehicles with a gas engine and automatic transmission.
- Component location: In the vacuum hose to the brake booster.
Brake System Vacuum Pump -V192-
- Only installed on vehicles with a gas engine and automatic transmission.
- Component location: In right front of the engine compartment.
- Removing and installing, refer to BRAKE SYSTEM VACUUM PUMP, GAS ENGINE .
Anti-Slip Regulation (ASR)/Electronic Stabilization Program (ESP) Control Lamp -K155-
- Component location: In the instrument cluster.
  Function, refer to LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM INDICATOR LAMPS .
ABS Warning Lamp -K47-
- Component location: In the instrument cluster.
  Function, refer to LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM INDICATOR LAMPS .
Brake System Warning Lamp -K118-
- Component location: In the instrument cluster.
  Function, refer to LEVEL CONTROL SYSTEM INDICATOR LAMPS .
ASR/ESP Button -E256-
- Component location: in the center console.
ESP Sensor Unit -G419-
- Component location: Beneath the center console.
- Combined with the transverse acceleration sensor -G200-, rotation rate sensor -G202- and longitudinal acceleration sensor -G251-.
- Combined in one housing.
- Observe the installation instructions, refer to ELECTRONIC STABILIZATION PROGRAM SENSOR UNIT .
Steering Angle Sensor -G85-
- Component location: On the steering column between the steering wheel and steering column switch.
- Observe the installation instructions, refer to STEERING ANGLE SENSOR .
Data Link Connection (DLC)
- Component location: under the cover in the driver footwell.
- Refer to ELECTRICAL AND ELECTRONIC COMPONENTS AND LOCATIONS .
Brake Lamp Switch -F- and Brake Pedal Switch -F47-
- Removing and installing , refer to BRAKE LAMP AND BRAKE PEDAL SWITCH .
- Vehicles from 27.11.06 do not have a brake lamp switch.
Right Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G45- /Left Front ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G47-
- Replacing, refer to FRONT WHEEL SPEED SENSOR .
Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
- The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.
Right Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G44- /Left Rear ABS Wheel Speed Sensor -G46-
- Replacing, refer to REAR WHEEL SPEED SENSOR .
Wheel Hub with Wheel Bearing
- The ABS sensor ring is installed in the wheel bearing.
