Electronic Damping Control Module

Removing 

NOTE:

Component location: Behind the left side luggage compartment trim panel.

-- Switch off all electrical consumers.

-- Remove the ignition key.

-- Remove the left side trim in the luggage compartment. Refer to Removal and Installation .

-- Release and disconnect the connector.

-- Slightly bend the tabs on the bracket -arrows- upward and slide the electronic damping control module -J250- in -direction of arrow- out of the bracket.

Installing 

Installation is the reverse of removal, with special attention to the following:

-- Slide the electronic damping control module far enough into the bracket so that the tabs -arrows- audibly latch into place.

-- Perform a basic setting on the adaptive chassis DCC. Refer to ADAPTIVE CHASSIS DCC, BASIC SETTING .
