Transmission Input Speed Sensor And Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor

Short Description

Both sensors are combined into one component and can only be replaced together. They are located in the transmission in the vicinity of the multi-plate clutch. Before removing, the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) mechatronic must be removed.

Do not pull on the transmission wire because it will be damaged and will have to be replaced.

Removing 

-- Remove the mechatronic. Refer to DIRECT SHIFT GEARBOX MECHATRONIC, TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .

Do not pull on the wire!

-- Remove the bolt and carefully pry the sensor out with a screwdriver or pliers.

Installing 

Only install the old sensor if:

Otherwise, install a new sensor.

-- Install the sensor, lubricated with DSG oil G 052 182.

-- Tighten the bolt to 10 Nm.

-- Install the mechatronic. Refer to DIRECT SHIFT GEARBOX MECHATRONIC, TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .
