Removal And Installation: Transmission: Installing
-- Make sure the alignment bushings are pressed into the engine flange.
-- Make sure the intermediate plate fits correctly between the engine and the transmission. The plate must contact the engine along entire perimeter when pressing lightly against engine using both hands. If it is above the engine, then it is not hooked into the cylinder block correctly.
Further installation is performed in the reverse sequence.
The engine and the transmission must be mounted in the mounts free of tension. Refer to Specifications .
-- Replace all the bolts for the transmission mount/bracket.
-- Install all new bolts by hand.
Tighten the bolts -1- to 40 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn when installing the bracket -A-.
Adjust the old fit between both bolts using a screwdriver when tightening the bracket/transmission mount bolts -2-. Tighten the two bolts to 60 Nm + 90° (1/4) additional turn.
Tightening specifications, transmission to engine. Refer to TRANSMISSION TO ENGINE TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .
-- Adjust the selector lever cable. Refer to SELECTOR LEVER CABLE, ADJUSTING .
-- Check the Automatic Transmission Fluid (ATF) level. Refer to ATF LEVEL, CHECKING AND FILLING .

-- Connect the VAS 5051 and then select perform basic Setting using the Guided Functions .
