Wheel Speed Sensor, Front Axle

Removing

- Raise the vehicle.

- Disconnect the wheel speed sensor wiring connector - 1 - from the sensor.





- Remove the speed sensor bolt - 2 -.

- Remove the wheel speed sensor.

Installing

- Before installing the speed sensor, clean the bore inner surface and coat the speed sensor all round with hot bolt paste ( G 052 112 A3).

- Install the speed sensor into the bore in the wheel bearing housing and tighten the bolt to 8 Nm.

- Connect the speed sensor wiring connector.
