Transmission Input Speed Sensor And Clutch Oil Temperature Sensor

Short Description

Both sensors are combined into one component and can only be replaced together. They are coated with oil in the transmission near the multi-plate clutch. Before removing, the Direct Shift Gearbox (DSG) Mechatronic Unit -J743- must be removed.

Often, the sensor wire is pulled on. This damages it. If the wire was pulled on, the sensor must be replaced.

Removing

-- Remove the Mechatronic unit. Refer to MECHATRONIC UNIT, TRANSMISSION INSTALLED .

Do not pull on the wire!

-- Remove the bolt and carefully pry out the sensor using a screwdriver or pliers.
