Transmission Fluid, Draining And Filling

-- Turn off the engine.

-- Remove the plug from the oil pan -arrow-.

-- Remove the overflow tube -C-.

-- Always replace the seal -B-.

-- Drain the transmission fluid.

-- Install the overflow tube -C-. Refer to FASTENER TIGHTENING SPECIFICATIONS .

-- Install adapter for oil filling VAS 6262/2 hand-tight.

-- Shake the bottles before opening.

-- Read the information regarding the pipe before attaching the adapter for oil filling VAS 6262 A to the fluid container. Refer to Shortening the pipe on the adapter for oil filling VAS 6262 A: .

-- Fill with 3 liters of fluid through the filler tube.

-- Install and tighten the plug -A- with a new seal -B- by hand.

-- Start the engine, shift through all selector lever positions, you must remain shifted in each position approximately 10 seconds.

-- Check the fluid level and add if necessary. Refer to TRANSMISSION FLUID LEVEL, CHECKING AND FILLING .
