ATF Level, Checking And Topping Off

The filler tube for checking and topping off ATF is not installed to some Volkswagen automatic transmission.

These transmissions are filled from below using new adapter for oil filling VAS 6262.

Transmissions having an ATF filler tube may also be checked and filled with ATF via the new adapter for filling oil VAS 6262.

• If ATF level is checked, oil seal - arrow  - on ATF inspection plug must always be replaced.

If ATF must be added, use only ATF listed in Electronic Parts Catalog "ETKA".
