Automatic headlamps, checking

Checking in daylight or brightness 

• Switch ignition on.

• Turn light switch - 4  - to automatic headlamps position - 2  -.

The headlamps should not come on when it is bright.

Checking at night or in darkness 

• Ignition is switched on
• Light switch is on automatic headlamps

Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- is secured in rearview mirror area.

Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- is located in upper center area of front windshield - arrow  -.

• Cover area where rearview mirror is secured with hand or suitable object from outside of windshield - arrow  -.

The decrease in light is measured and the headlamps are switched on.

• Turn light switch - 4  - to O position - 1  - and switch ignition off.
