Automatic headlamps, checking

NOTE:
  • Automatic headlamps are also called Automatic Headlamp Control.
  • Vehicle must be in daylight.

Checking in daylight or brightness

The headlamps should not come on when it is bright.

Checking at night or in darkness

Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- is secured in rearview mirror area.

Rain/Light Recognition Sensor -G397- is located in upper center area of front windshield - arrow  -.

The decrease in light is measured and the headlamps are switched on.
