• Mixer nozzle - 1  - must be shortened 1 to 2 mm - dimension a  - in order to obtain adhesive bead dimensions of height = 8 mm and width = 10 mm.

Adhesive bead must be applied at a distance of 2 mm to sealing lip and to lower window edge.

• Apply adhesive material to primed area - 1  - or to trimmed sealant bead, holding applicator at right angle to window.

• Insert window into window cut out using two double suction lifters V.A.G 1344, center and press in up to spacer.
• The gap dimension at the top of the windshield is to be 2 mm.
• The gap dimension at the top and sides of the rear window is to be 2 mm.
• Secure windshield using window adjuster 443 845 631 A  during curing time.

• The plenum chamber cover must always be installed as described in → Plenum chamber cover, removing and installing .
• Replace stickers (e.g. for airbag).
• Secure rear window using adhesive tape during curing time.
• If the adhesive bead has been applied too thick and the adhesive expands onto the area of the window heating, then the excess adhesive must be removed.
