Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125, replacing, 01V, 5 SPD. A/T (AWD)

Removing
^ Remove left wheel.

Vehicles with TDI engine





^ Remove noise insulation for left drive axle from wheel housing - arrows -

Continued for all vehicles





^ For vehicles with auxiliary heater, remove bolts - arrows - from exhaust pipe at noise insulation.





^ Remove noise insulation - arrows A and B -.
^ For vehicles with noise insulation - D -, remove bolts - arrows C -.
^ Removing left transmission support.
^ Unbolt Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 from transmission and pull off from selector shaft.

Installing
Attach Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 centrally on selector shaft. Do not distort and do not use excessive force. Otherwise selector terminals will be damaged.





^ Connect Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 to selector shaft. Flat part at splines in switch - 3 - must align with flat part of selector shaft - 1 -.
^ Rotate switch until the alignment bore - 4 - at switch housing can be fitted on the alignment pin - 2 - at transmission housing.
^ Secure Multi-Function Transmission Range (TR) Switch F125 to transmission.
^ Install left transmission support.

Vehicles with TDI engine





^ Install noise insulation - arrows - for left drive axle to wheel housing.

Continued for all vehicles
^ Install left wheel.





^ Install noise insulation - arrows -.
^ In vehicles with auxiliary heater, bolt exhaust pipe firmly to noise insulation.
