Fuel Level Sensor, Removing and Installing



Fuel Level Sensor, Removing And Installing: Engine Codes AUG, AWM

(FWD Models)

NOTE:
- When removing union nut from flange, fuel tank must not be filled more than 3/4.
- Empty fuel tank if necessary.
- Read safety precautions and rules of cleanliness before beginning work.

Removing
- Removing flange Fuel Pump (FP), removing and installing: Engine codes AUG, AWM.
- Disconnect connector for Fuel Level Sensor on the underside of flange.
- If necessary, siphon fuel until to lower edge of locking mechanism at sender.







- Unclip Fuel Level Sensor G at baffle housing in fuel tank and remove.
- Press locking mechanism at sender in - direction of arrow - and pull upward (figure shows sender removed).

Installing
- Insert Fuel Level Sensor G in guide on baffle housing and press down until it engages.
- Reconnect Fuel Level Sensor G connector to flange.
- Installing flange and further assembly. Fuel Pump (FP), removing and installing: Engine codes AUG, AWM.
