Causes For Deviations From Specified Values

Possible causes Remedy
Idling speed too high Adjust engine
ATF pump faulty Check ATF pump and replace if necessary
Sticking valves in valve body Replace valve body

-- Switch engine off.

-- Press fuse together and pull off connector.

-- Start engine.



Possible causes Remedy
ATF pump faulty Check ATF pump and replace if necessary
Sticking valves in valve body Replace valve body

After test:

-- Disconnect pressure tester VAG1702.

-- Install new bolt for main pressure port and tighten to 15 Nm.

-- Install solenoid valve connector.

-- Once connector has been fitted, check and erase DTC memory.

-- If necessary, install sound insulation.
