Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)

NOTE: The blinkers are activated via output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM).
  1. Connect scan tool. See Figure .
  2. Initiate On Board Diagnostic (OBD). See INITIATING ON BOARD DIAGNOSTIC (OBD)  under SELF-DIAGNOSTIC SYSTEM.
  3. Press buttons "0" and "3" for function "Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM). Indicated on scan tool display:
    • Rapid data transfer Q
    • 03 - Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)
  4. Press "Q" button to confirm input. Indicated on scan tool display:
    • Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)
  5. Press forward (right) arrow button.
  6. Blinkers are activated and remain constantly lit. Press forward (right) arrow button.
  7. Press forward (right) arrow once more. Indicated on scan tool display:
    • Output Diagnostic Test Mode (DTM)
    • DONE
