Removal And Installation: Bracket

Removing 

-- Remove lock cylinder housing.

-- Remove the door handle. Refer to DOOR HANDLE .

-- Remove subframe, refer to DOOR LOCK, SEDAN .

-- Remove bolt -1- push mounting bracket in door toward rear and unhook retaining tab -2- from door opening.

Installation 

Install in reverse order of removal.

-- Before installing mounting bracket, check or establish proper installation position of spring lever -1-.

Spring bracket -1- must be pressed into bearing bracket against spring pressure, and blocked in this position by movable locking mechanism -2-.
