Shift Mechanism
NOTE:
Lubricate mounting points and contact surfaces with grease, Part No. G 052 142 A2.
- Selector lever handle
- Removing:
-- Press sleeve down and pull handle up and away with button pressed, refer to item 2
- Installing:
-- Install in position with button pressed, until it engages, then slide sleeve upward until it engages
- Removing:

- Locates in selector lever handle
- Prevents selector lever handle from being pulled off

- Selector lever position display
- Printed circuit for selector lever position display (illumination) is held in position by clips

- Only remove and install with selector lever in position "1"
- Pay attention to spring and locking pin when removing
- Remove together with locking pin and spring while moving selector lever back and forth slightly
