DTC table: VAG codes

NOTE:
  • DTC tables are listed according to VAG code.
  • Explanation of DTC types (e.g. "open circuit/short circuit to ground"):

    See Scan Tool (ST) operating instructions

  • If DTCs are indicated:

    Check wiring and connectors to these components as well as ground connections according to wiring diagram. This particularly applies if DTCs are displayed as "occurring sporadically" (SP).

  • Erase DTC memory after correcting DTC, see DIAGNOSTIC TROUBLE CODE (DTC) MEMORY, CHECKING AND ERASING , and reset readiness code, see READINESS CODE, SETTING .
