When adapting an immobilizer control unit or a key using the "All remaining vehicles" selection, the VIN number and immobilizer serial number must be entered manually into the scan tool.
When the serial number is read out and recorded during the test plan, the seventh digit appears to be a numeric value of "1". This digit in the serial number should always be a letter. Therefore, the letter "i' should be entered in these cases.
A DC 3021 fault code may appear during the test plan if the value is entered incorrectly.
