A/C Cut-Out Thermal Switch

A/C cut-out thermal switch is located in front of engine, near A/C compressor. Thermal switch sends coolant temperature information to 3rd speed cooling fan thermal switch. Switch for 3rd speed cooling fan will turn fan on at 234°F (112°C) and turn it off at 226°F (108°C). The switch also sends coolant temperature information to Climatronic Control Module (CCM). Through CCM, A/C clutch is switched off at 246°F (119°C) and on at 234°F (112°C).
