Test Conditions

Voltage supply for instrument cluster was checked and is OK. See POWER SUPPLY FOR INSTRUMENT CLUSTER CHECKING .

If one warning light in the instrument cluster does not work, check the bulb first. See INSTRUMENT CLUSTER BULBS AND SOCKETS, IDENTIFYING .

If the bulb is OK, continue troubleshooting using applicable wiring diagram.

If the bulb is not OK, replace bulb and perform function check.

NOTE: Beginning August 1994, the instrument cluster of manufacturer Motometer has LED's instead of conventional bulbs for warning lights. In these instrument clusters faulty LED's cannot be replaced. For troubleshooting Motometer instrument clusters continue by checking the wiring to the instrument cluster.
