Bleeding Procedure

Bleed system using conventional method. Use Brake Pedal Positioning Tool (VAG 1238B) to depress brake pedal. For bleeding order, see BRAKELINE BLEEDING SEQUENCE table. Ensure all air is removed from brake system. Refill brake fluid reservoir after bleeding procedure is complete. On vehicles with pressure regulator, move regulator lever in direction of rear axle when bleeding rear brakes.
