WARNING: This page does not describe the selected car, but rather 6 other vehicles, including the 2003 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2002 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2001 Volkswagen EuroVan, 2000 Volkswagen EuroVan, and 1999 Volkswagen EuroVan. However, it is still accessible from the selected car via links, so may be relevant.

The control module can transfer a considerable amount of test data. This test data delivers information on the operational condition of the system and/or sensors connected to it. In many cases the transferred test data supports troubleshooting and corrective action. The test data has been summarized into single display groups because all the information cannot be evaluated at the same time. The information can be selected via display group numbers.

(If you can only select a two character display group number, you have an old program card in your V.A.G 1551 ! Replace the card with a valid version).

Each display group number is displayed on the scan tool as four display zones.

A display zone can be displayed as an eight digit row or as values. These values are sometimes displayed with a measurement symbol.
