Water Separator

The water separator is located under vehicle in right front of fuel tank. It is connected to fuel supply line between fuel tank and fuel filter. The water separator stops and retains any water that may be present in fuel.

When water contamination reaches a predetermined level inside water separator, an internal sensor illuminates glow plug indicator on instrument panel continuously. Water can be drained from water separator by opening a drain valve on bottom of unit. Fuel filter is also equipped with a water drain valve, which should be drained at normal maintenance intervals.
