^ disconnect harness connector from control unit for cruise control
^ connect the following multimeter and adaptors to this harness connector as indicated in the troubleshooting procedures
Fluke 83 multimeter (US 1119)
^ always connect to circuit with ignition switched OFF
^ only change units or ranges with ignition switched OFF
VW 1594 adaptor kit
^ use to make all connections between multimeter and connector and to jumper between connector terminals
