Fuel Filter: Locations

Fuel Pump And Filter Mounting Bracket:

The Fuel Filter is located under the right rear of the vehicle, it is attached to the same mounting bracket as the main fuel pump, fuel accumulator and fuel reservoir.

Mini Fuel Filter:

There may also be a mini fuel filter inside the fuel supply line banjo bolt, located at the fuel distributor. This filter is installed at the factory as a precaution when the fuel system is new. The mini fuel filter is not changed, but eliminated as a one time only procedure. For more information, refer to COMPONENT TESTING PROCEDURES.
