Removal (5-Cyl. Engine)

  1. Remove injection pump timing belt. Install sprocket locking pin (2064) in pump sprocket and loosen retaining nut 1 turn. Remove locking pin and install puller (3032) on sprocket.
  2. Place puller so that jaws are at a right angle to the bar and pointing in the direction of spindle rotation. Apply light tension to puller. Tap lightly on puller spindle head to loosen sprocket from pump shaft. Remove retaining nut and sprocket from pump.
  3. Remove injection pipes, hoses, wire, and control cable from pump. Remove mounting bolts from pump mounting plate and bracket. Remove pump.
